TabTrade - What It Is
TabTrade went live in Q1 2026. Trading platform registered in Saint Lucia, regulated by Saint Lucia's FSRA. The person who started it is Benjamin Boulter. Before this, he was a senior exec at BlackBull Markets, the FMA-regulated broker.
That last detail matters. It suggests the founder is not figuring it out from scratch. That is not a guarantee. Still more reassuring than someone with no brokerage experience.
The broker opened with execution through Equinix servers. Same facilities prime brokers run on. The typical new launch focuses on ads and sign-up promos. Tab Trade did the opposite. Interesting choice.
What you can trade: FX, indices, metals, oil, energies, softs, equities, crypto, ETFs. A wide spread. For something that is a few months old, that range is not narrow.
What You Trade On
They offer: MetaTrader 5, cTrader by Spotware, and a WebTrader. Both platforms from the same login. Most brokers only give you one or the other. Access to both is useful. You are not locked into one.
MT5 is the default. Full charting, Expert Advisors, tons of scripts and indicators. If you have used MetaTrader before, it is familiar territory.
cTrader is the more modern one. Better DOM. Faster charting. Native automated trading. Many people like it better than MT5 once they try it.
Direct FIX connectivity is there for algo traders but needs the VIP tier ($25k minimum). TradingView is said to be coming. That would round things out once it is live.
Accounts and Pricing
Three tiers: Standard, Edge, VIP.
Standard account. Spread starts at 1.0 pips. No commission. Straightforward. Zero deposit requirement. Good for people who want simple pricing.
Edge. Interbank-style spreads from 0.0 pips on average. Flat commission of $3.50 each way. All-in: spread plus $7 per lot round-turn. On majors, the actual interbank spread is frequently below 0.2 pips. Meaning your all-in cost can sit under half a pip. That is cheap for an offshore broker. Most platforms that run raw pricing at this level want $500 or more to open. TabTrade does not.
VIP. $25,000 minimum. FIX API, sub-20ms execution, custom pricing. Not for most retail traders. Ignore this one unless you run serious volume.
How Fast Are the Fills
The execution is the thing this broker stands apart. Equinix LD4/LD5. Execution below 30 milliseconds on Edge. Under 20ms on VIP. Those are proper execution targets. Most retail brokers quote a much wider range.
Should you care? For short-term trading, yes. The difference between fast execution and sluggish execution is catching the move or missing it. If you hold positions longer, you will not notice. But the fact that they invested in proper execution. That says what kind of broker this is.
Combine that infrastructure with raw spreads at $3.50 per side and the total package holds up. Few brokers in this bracket have infrastructure at this level.
Regulation
Here is the part that requires honesty. Tab Trade is under Saint Lucia's FSRA. That is offshore. No CySEC. No government-backed safety net. If operating without FCA or ASIC oversight makes you uncomfortable, look elsewhere. Plenty of ASIC-licensed brokers out there.
But. The person running it built his career at BlackBull Markets, an FMA-regulated broker. The execution setup is not cheap. Scam brokers do not pay for tier-1 data centre access. That does not guarantee anything. It does inform your decision.
The deal: you trade regulatory safety. For that: high leverage, cheap spreads, $0 to start, fast fills. Whether that works depends on you.
Deposit Bonus
TabTrade runs a welcome bonus of up to $2,000. Typical sign-up bonus. You fund your account, they credit extra capital. The normal fine print: trading volume requirements before you can withdraw the bonus. Check the terms before you commit.
